ACOM is a manufacturing reality, the result of a dedicated group being proud of their excellent know-how, gradually achieved over the course of many years, in the mechanical field and based on the entrepreneurial tradition of the Schiavi family. That experience is marked by the evolution that has brought together two different industrial fields.
ACOM was established in 1927 when Cesare Schiavi set up a small mechanical workshop. Afterwards, thanks to the care and farsightedness of his sons Vito and Giuseppe, the company, in the postwar period, rapidly rose to an important position among the Italian industries manufacturing graphic machinery.

Three active generation under the leaderschip of the company. Today, three generations share their experience, their skill and their vitality to manufacture an excellent product that has no equal on the flexible packaging international market. From the founder Cesare Schiavi to the current President Vito Schiavi, together with his son Antonio, Managing Director of ACOM and Vito�s nephew Gian Vito, the family concern has grown in two major areas, the first being the production of industrial equipment for sheet processing and the second, the production of graphic machines, focusing on the rotogravure field for packaging and complementary processings such as coating and lamination. From its birth in the postwar period until the conveyance at the beginning of 2000 to an international group, the field of graphic machinery has reached its independence in the new productive reality of ACOM; which today, collaborates with the Schiavi Macchine Industriali spa, company of the Group which holds a leadership position in the field of machines for sheet processing.
